Below is the acronym SPICE, which stands for Social, Physical,Intellectual, Character and Emotional. We learned this during one of our classes in college. It is regarding the Adolescence Development and all of the difference areas that are under going change at this point in their lives. As a team our goal is to help students in every single one of these ways and discuss these topics with them.

Our expectations of our students are:
Our advisory team is consisted of 3 teachers: Miss. Duncan, Miss. Kohne, and Miss. Murphy. We each have come together to create this team known as Space Cadets. As space cadets, our goal is to have every student in a positive attitude while at school. We meet with our students to work on group projects, discuss what will be going on in the school, different topics that need to be addressed with young adolescences and to help all of our students get to know one another better. We will do icebreaker activities to help the students get to know one another better, we will also do group activities so they can work with other students who they have not worked with or even met before. We hope our advisory team makes a positive impact on each students lives and to help all of the students create bonds with one another. Along with us too. We are here to help these students grow within the year that we have them, not just academically but socially too. We hope the students trust us to the point where they can come to us with any issue they may have. Not just with their school work, but if they are having issues with friends or anything else. Our goal is to have a welcoming environment, where no one feels judged or is too scared to ask any questions.
